Safer handovers

- Meet in a public place and agree on the time beforehand.

- Never send advance payment, a deposit, card details, identity documents or message codes.

- Inspect the item before taking it. Check children's and electrical items especially carefully.

- Do not publish your home address in a listing. Share an exact meeting point only with the person you have agreed to meet.

- End a conversation if it feels suspicious. Listings are reviewed, but moderation cannot guarantee every meeting is safe.

Contact details in a listing description are public. Share only what you are comfortable showing to visitors.
